Installation Advice

Newcastle Oak Brown is a click-fit laminate floor installed as a floating floor over a suitable underlay. For the best, longest-lasting result we recommend professional installation by our experienced Edinburgh fitters.

Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48 hours before fitting
Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry and level
Use a quality acoustic or underfloor-heating-rated underlay
Leave a 10-12 mm expansion gap around the perimeter
Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
